A travel companion

Sweetheart,

I know you have been traveling such a long time.

You came through fire to get here,

and so there is no going back.

But you don't have a map, and all that seems to be ahead

is more terrible desert.

Sweetheart,

I know you wonder how you can go on

when you already feel so scorched and broken.

But what you have to understand is, you're not ashes yet.

I cannot promise you there'll be no more burning.

But I can tell you, you won't travel alone.

Spiritual care for every soul

As a Spiritual Companion, I’m here to accompany you (in person or virtually) as you travel the path of exploration and growth.

My own religious and spiritual journey has been long and winding, and I can relate to a variety of different experiences.

I specialize in working with those who have historically been underserved by institutional religion, including the queer and trans communities, clergy people and seminarians (who often don’t have a spiritual home-base where they are not ‘on’), and those wrestling with questions of faith and belonging.

I know that those of us who fall into the above categories need more than just words to reassure us before we make ourselves vulnerable. So don’t take my word for it, let’s meet face-to-face (at no cost to you).

Affirmations & Appreciations

  • I was lucky to run into you while figuring out who I was after a crisis of faith. You have been with me on this journey and never once judged.

    — Susan B

  • Your ability to be authentically yourself and to open doors and windows for so many different manifestations of love is amazing.

    — Lyn C

  • You have a very kind and open hearted way of engaging people in topics that may be challenging or somewhat painful to reflect upon.

    — Erin E

  • The words you share are so often exactly what this worn out soul needs to hear to keep breathing.

    — Susan B

  • You know how to love people as they are, no asterisks. That is an amazing gift. Thank you for teaching us. ♡

    — Misha S

  • You move from person to person with ease, touching them with love and affirmation, always welcoming them into community. You, my friend, are Love In Motion.

    — Andrea HK

  • You are the insightful human that reaches down to our inner selves and says, "I see you, I hear you, and I care."

    —Susan B

  • You are deep and wise, thoughtful and grounded. You live your values of love, inclusion and generosity in a principled and openhearted way.

    — Beth J

  • You are someone who knows how to love. You see the truth in people and situations and ancient texts, and use it to guide you.

    — Jen D

  • We've never even met (in person) and yet your incredible light and energy have touched me. That's the power of you. You are a beautiful, beautiful soul.

    — Tracey S

For all of us, the truth is unknown and unknowable. All we can do is move through the world and make meaning of our experiences to the best of our ability.

I choose to imagine and create meanings that are aligned with goodness as best I understand it, in communities I trust, and my calling is to create safe places where others can explore and create their own meanings.

There are many good futures open to us, yet we are not called toward only one of them, but rather toward goodness itself, toward wholeness and eternal transformation. Our path comes into existence one moment at a time, unfolding as we act in partnership with others, with the Universe, with G!d.

This is sacred work.
